Windows on the Pier — Worthing


Windows on the Pier is now complete. What began as an ambitious idea by Paul Holden of the Worthing Journal to transform the windbreak windows along Worthing Pier grew into a unique public gallery of glass celebrating local people, organisations, history, events and stories.

Siobhan Jones Designer Glass created the glasswork for the project over many years, drawing on decades of experience in public and commissioned glass. With every available window now completed, the finished project was officially launched in 2026 at an event attended by hundreds of people.

The completed windows can be seen along Worthing Pier, forming a permanent and highly distinctive part of the town's seafront.

The completed project

There are no further windows available to commission on the pier. The project is now complete, and this page is retained as part of Siobhan's record of the work.
