Private Fused Glass Courses with Siobhan Jones
A private, hands-on day of fused glass with Siobhan in her professional working studio in Worthing.
Siobhan is not currently running courses on fixed public dates, but her popular one-day Introduction to Fused Glass course is available privately for groups of four or more.
You will spend the day learning and creating in the same professional studio environment where Siobhan develops and produces her own artwork and commissions. The course is designed to be fun, engaging and genuinely educational, with plenty of hands-on guidance from Siobhan throughout.
Working with Bullseye transparent, opal and iridescent glass, you will explore sheet glass, frits, stringers and wire, learn how to cut glass, add inclusions and create voids and bubbles, while developing and making a finished piece of your own. No previous glass experience is necessary — just enthusiasm.
A creative day — wherever you want to take it
People come to Siobhan's courses for very different reasons. Some simply want a memorable creative experience with friends or family. For others, the day becomes the beginning of a new hobby, while some arrive wanting to explore glass much more seriously.
Over the years, Siobhan has taught people who have gone on to develop their own glass practices and, in some cases, build careers working with glass.
There is no expectation that you want to take it any further. Whether you are coming for a brilliant day doing something completely different or because it might be the start of something bigger, Siobhan makes the experience enjoyable, accessible and rewarding.
Private group courses
£160 per person · Minimum 4 people
Private group courses can be arranged on a mutually convenient date. The course runs from 10:30am to 4:30pm and includes all glass and materials, refreshments and a light lunch.
Group sizes are kept small so that everyone receives Siobhan's personal tuition and plenty of time at the workbench.
One-to-one tuition
Siobhan can also arrange private one-to-one fused glass tuition for those looking for a more individual experience. One-to-one sessions are priced separately depending on the day and the type of tuition required.
